NATRON, CRUENTUS Members Join Forces In SOUTHBORN
February 6, 2009SOUTHBORN, the 70's-inspired Italian heavy rock project featuring members of the death metal bands NATRON and CRUENTUS, has posted three songs on MySpace.
Formed in February 2008, SOUTHBORN is the brainchild of "five freaky lads willing to pay their tribute to the greatest moment hard rock music has ever lived," according to the band's official bio. "Therefore SOUTHBORN is bloody influenced by '70s but with a modern and heavy approach coming from each member's experience in their own heavy-extreme metal projects. SOUTHBORN already performed live supporting ENTOMBED, NATRON, REBEL DEVIL, CHAIN REACTION and is currently looking for a label to release their debut soon!"
Commented the group: "We recorded eight songs with a 'crazed' Fostex multi-track recorder, a couple of microphones, one crate of beers, unnumbered joints and uploaded three songs on the page. More are coming!"
SOUTHBORN is:
Nicola Bavaro (vocals)
Domenico Mele (guitar)
Antonello Maggi (guitar)
Toni Carrassi (bass)
Max Marzocca (drums)
